Don’t you just love spur of the moment things in life? If they are good things, that is? I do, and my mother-in-law is good at spur of the moment. We only live once, so let’s have some fun!
Well, if any of you watch that show Fixer Upper with Chip and Joanna Gaines, then you know exactly what “The Silos” are. You might also know that Chip and Joanna live in Waco, Texas with their lovely four children, and their giant, almost larger than life business adventures. The Silos being one of those adventures. Joanna get’s this grand idea, presents it to Chip and he helps make it happen for her. Almost like he’s a real life hero I could write about in one of my books. *Sigh*
Anyway, back to the story. We did a spur of the moment thing last week, and we decided to hightail it to the Silos and back all in one afternoon. I had to pick my children up from daycare after all, so we didn’t have much time. But, boy, did I do some damage in the little time I did have to shop.
If any of you ever have the chance to visit The Silos, you should. The Magnolia Market is a great, little quaint shop to do some shopping, some browsing, some dreaming, and to make matters even better, the staff are super nice. However, I expected nothing less. Nice seems to be the Chip and Joanna way. But, before you go, realize that when you get home, you are going to want all new stuff!! Please, Joanna Gaines, if you are reading this, just come to Houston. Just once! Please! I need you!
Do something spur of the moment, y’all, and enjoy life!
