Creating a Grand Entrance For Your Home

(Affiliate Links Are Used. There is no cost to you whatsoever, and gives me a little money to help feed little people!)

I believe the entrance or foyer of a home is so important. It’s the first thing your guests see. The one thing that says “Hello!” and “Welcome to my home!” Big house or small, big budget or little, anyone can create a grand entrance for their home. There are a few key elements that make a warm, cozy and inviting grand entrance.

  • Table/Bench/Chair

You need something to ground the space. A place where guests can throw their purse or coat. It doesn’t have to be a coat rack or a hook. It can just be something they use to drape or set their items on.

Here are a couple I like! You can click on the picture and it will take you to the link.

Now onto the warmers as I call them!

These are the things that really make the space feel cozy.

  1. A blanket
  2. Pillows
  3. A book/books  Side Note: Bunny Williams has some fabulous coffee table books!
  4. Candles Stick Holders/ Candle Sticks/ or just candles!

And another key element to a space:

It can be in the form of a picture, a wreath, a framed blessing to those who enter your home, or a set of hooks to hang items. Something that ties the space together, and I prefer with color, but you can also do a lovely monochromatic entry way.

I’ve given you many great examples on my Pinterest Board titled Dream Home. Go check it out! Whether your budget is big or small, there are so many amazing things you can do to make a home feel inviting and warm. Look for inspiration all around you, and most important, allow your decor to reflect you.

XOXO,

Erin
