Guys! For Author Ramblings today, instead of giving you an unfinished 20 minute sprint writing session to read, I’m going to tell you a little bit about what inspires me. Country music. And this is the month! Of all the months. It’s…drum roll please…!!!!
Country Music Month!!!
I love country music. Maybe it’s my Arkansas raising, but something about a good old country song just get’s my pulse pumping, takes me back to the days of teenage boy chasing, when the world was wide open, and all the possibilities were good, and every guy I like drove a big ‘ol truck.
And it took a little persuading, but the man I love finally drives a big ‘ol truck! 🙂
Country music has all the feels of what great love songs are supposed to be, and pumps me up to write that sweet pull and tug of a romance that romance readers love. Country music just does it for me. And when I really pump up the country in my life, the words flow. So I created a little list for you of some of my favorites, old, new, and in between. You can get it here on Pandora!
